Yvonne Hackwork Williams

Yvonne Hackworth Williams, 83, widow of William E. Williams, Sr., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 13, 2020. She was born in Danville, VA and was the daughter of the late Theodore Thomas Hackworth and the late Estelle Craft Hackworth. She was a retired church secretary.

Yvonne is remembered by her daughter, Susan G. Williams; son, William E. “Bill” Williams, Jr. and his wife Pamela Williams; granddaughter, Elise Taylor and her husband Ben Taylor; sister, Gail Moore; niece, Kim Austin and her husband Greg Austin and their children Lance and Hannah Bibbs; nephew, Thomas Moore and his wife Natalia Moore and their daughter Annie Moore; brother in law, Will Williams and his wife Sue Williams, niece, Christine Williams; nephew, Thomas Williams; dear friends, Pat McKinney and Maritta Bryan.

In addition to her parents she is joined in Heaven by her husband Bobby Williams; son, Perry Williams; brother in law, Percy Moore.

Her devotion and love for Jesus Christ has kept us strong our entire lives and will always and forever continue to do so.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at South Roanoke Nursing Home for the care they showed to Yvonne.
