Nellie V. Perry

Nellie V. Perry, 87, of Salem passed away at her residence on August 22, 2022.
A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Thurman L Perry and the daughter of Clarence and Ethel Broughman, both deceased. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading her bible every day.
Nellie is survived by her daughter, Sandra Overstreet and husband Johnny; two sons, Thurman Perry, Jr. and wife Angie and Donald Perry; five grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Marc, Alishia, and Shay; eight great grandchildren; her sister, Barbara J. Garman and husband Oscar; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends with the Post Office, Dale, Angle, and numerous others.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm by Pastor Eugene Mills. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
