Elliott Maurice Battle

Elliott Maurice Battle, 59, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020, at his home. He was born February 19, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, to the late Amos Battle and the late Roxie Aquilla Emerson Battle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Dorothea Crutcher, and brother, Elvin Playton Battle.

Elliott attended Henry County Public Schools, was of the Baptist faith, and had been employed at Eastman for three years. He had been a hard worker since childhood; he was a friendly person, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Renisha Millner and Valencia Elise Battle; brother, Edward Crutcher; and girlfriend, Lolitta Millner.

A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 12:00 Noon, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
