Rebecca Adams

Mrs. Rebecca Ferrell Adams, 90, of Martinsville, VA transitioned on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Sovah Health-Martinsville. She was born in Halifax County, VA on December 10, 1929 a daughter of the late John and Betsy Womack Ferrell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Adams.
She is survived by two daughters, Lillie Tunstall, of Fieldale, VA; and Connie Adams, of Martinsville, VA; three sons, John Adams, of Blairs, VA; Gene and Glen Adams, both of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Eddie Ferrell, of Burlington, NC; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services in accordance with CDC guidelines will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel with Elder Raquel Adams, officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park in Bassett, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home at 220 Aaron Street, Martinsville, VA at other times.
