Margaret "Peggy" HIll

Margaret Jane “Peggy” Koch Hill, 79, of Mebane, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Alamance Regional Hospital in Burlington. She was born November 10, 1942, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Karl Koch and Ella Illgen Koch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace “Wally” Hill; sister, Elvie Koch Amon; and brother, Carl Koch.

She graduated from Piedmont Bible College with a 4-year degree in Education, and was employed in the German Department and Alumni Department at University of North Carolina Greensboro for 20 years. She was a member of Living Stream Ministry.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Penny Massey (Eric), Holly Williams (Steve), and Sherry Hill (Craig); grandchildren, Morgan Hermelin (Jared), Courtney Straughn (Cameron), Meredith Houchens (Kevin), and Nathaniel Williams; and great-grandchildren, Axel and Liam Straughn.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Peggy be sent to Holly Williams, 1162 Newberry Drive, Mebane, North Carolina 27302.
