David Lee Wood, 71, of Salem passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
A native of Virginia he was the son of Frank Wesley Wood and Geraldine Owens Wood, both deceased. David was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a plumber by trade and an avid hunter.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie Woodall; son, David R. Wood; two grandchildren, Legend Woodall and Marleigh Wood; three brothers, George Wood and wife Sylvia, Murphey Wood and wife Lou, and Ronnie Wood; his best friends, Glenn and Susie Hall; his beloved dog, October; and numerous nieces and nephews.
