David Melvin Osborne

David Melvin Osborne, 61, of 9474 Abram Penn Highway, Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at SOVAH Health of Danville. He was born October 25, 1958, to the late Shasta Osborne and Nannie Helena Stevens Osborne, in Cincinatti Ohio. He had attended Martinsville High School and was employed at Ridgeway Clocks before he became disabled.

David was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, and NASCAR racing. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved people and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dallas Joe Osborne and Saul Edward “Eddie” Osborne; and his special little angel, Candy Staples.

He is survived by his brothers, Roger Wayne & Debbie of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Calvin & Candi of Sutherlin; sister, Mary Seay of Essex, Maryland; two aunts; several nieces and nephews; special nieces, Sarah, Kaylee, Lilly, and Sophie; special nephews, Aiden, Logan, Corey, Codyie, and Parker; and special friends, Jean Andrade, Tracy, and Brandon Nellenback.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, October 12, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park with Pastor Kenny Daniels officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
