Thomas Graylan Moye

On Friday, October 23, 2020, Thomas Graylan Moye, 69, of Pearisburg, VA left this world to enter his heavenly home. He was born September 4, 1951 to Ilene and Virgil Moye. He married his high school sweetheart, Sharon, and they enjoyed 52 years together. Tommy was a skilled carpenter and retired from Celanese in 2015. Tommy was happiest on days when he was surrounded by his grandchildren, golfing, or working on the farm. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne Moye, and sisters Donna Moye Sanchez and Darlene Hale. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sharon Moye; his children, Shannon Douthat (Tim); Michelle Thorne (Andy); and Scott Moye (Emily); his grandchildren, Jayke Dowdy (Morgan); Marinna Rhodes (Cody); Tyler Thorne; Braelyn Simpson; Logan Douthat; Kylie Douthat; Colton Moye; Camdyn Moye; and Nathan Thorne; and one great-granddaughter, Adelyn Dowdy. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 26, 2020 at 1pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with Pastor W.R. Johnston officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive visitors at the Givens Funeral Home before the service from 12 – 1pm.
