Glen Edwin Lakins, Jr.

Glen Edwin Lakins, Jr. 80, of Boones Mill, Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020, at his residence. He was born January 17, 1940, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Glen Edwin Lakins, Sr. and Ida Wheeler Lakins. He had been employed as a truck driver and a plumber. He also proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam era.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Glen is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Oma Lee Lakins; daughters, Deborah Hogan, Michelle Rossi Meadows, Mindy Jones and Missy Kristofferson; sons, Kenneth Olcott and Ed Lakins, Jr; and 12 grandchildren.

All services will be private.
