Tony Edward Helms

Tony Edward Helms, 50, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. He was born May 31, 1970 to Elwood Rorrer and Brenda Ann Helms Beeson. He graduated from Patrick Henry Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Tony was a police officer for 13 years with the Danville City Police Department.

In addition to his mother and step-father, Mike Beeson, Tony is survived by his wife, Susan Minter; sons, Roger Allen Helms and Dakota Shane Helms; sister, Amy Michelle Dean; niece, Gabrielle Skylynn Dean; grandson, Jayden Alexander-Lee Helms; and honorary sister, Bonnie Jones.

Services will be held at a later date.
