Ray Junior Jones

Ray Junior Jones, 91, of Vinton passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was a son of the late Pleasant Jones and Dora Perry Jones. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Katherine Johnson Jones; two brothers, Perry and George Jones.

Surviving him are his son, Ray Jones and wife, Andrea; a daughter, Judy Milbourne and husband, Roger; three sisters, Alice Crowder, Mary Ann Goad and Betty Britt; four grandchildren, Brittany Lawhorn, Taylor Lawhorn, Jason McCray and Neil McCray; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Ray’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 pm prior to the service. Burial will be private. 
All social distancing and face covering mandates will be observed.
