Drewey Allen Bateman

Drewey Allen Bateman, 50, of Ridgeway, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at his home. He was born November 14, 1969 in Eden, North Carolina, to the late Carlis Irvin Bateman and the late Doris Mildred Tranbarger Bateman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melanie Pruitt.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Setliff Bateman; son, Wesley Allen Bateman; and sister, Shirley Salmon (William); as well as other extended family members who were very loved.

Drewey was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved sports and spending time outdoors; he was a talented carpenter, a good husband, dad, brother, friend and neighbor, always helping people when he could.

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Carl Keith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
