Ulysses "C-Camp" Norman, Sr.

Ulysses “C-Camp" Norman, Sr., 81, of Bassett, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Bassett on December 26, 1938 to the late Robert Lee Norman and the late Stella Scott Norman.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Brown, Larry Norman, Herbert Norman and Quincy Norman;  sisters, Melanie Norman, Tessa Rainey, Rissie Doyle and Idabel Berger.
C-Camp is survived by a son, Ulysses Norman, Jr. of Bassett; daughters, Lisa Lieteau of Martinsville and Sherry Norman of Bassett; step-son Gregory Wade (Stephanie) of Horsepasture; brothers, Wallace Norman (Mary Jean) of Bassett, Phillip Norman (Maria) of Portsmouth  and Doug Norman (Lucy) of Fieldale; sisters, Eula Ross of Fieldale, Hazel Clark of Hillsboro, NC and Mary Hughes of Martinsville; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
