William Hennery Walker

William Hennery Walker, 62, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born November 29, 1957, in Bronx, New York, to Alberta Perry Walker, and the late Kenneth Walker, Sr. He loved to read, cook, and spend time with his family. He also enjoyed politics.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Walker; and brother, Theodore Walker.

Mr. Walker is survived by his mother; his wife, Joy Bowen Walker; daughters, Tanja Walker, Whitney Walker, Latoya Fields, Brittany Walker, and Courtney Walker; sons, William Chisholm, Michael Fields, and Rockwell Johnson-Walker; sister, Elizabeth Walker Howard; brothers, Kenneth Walker, Jr. (Kristal), Jimmie Walker (Trena), Franklin Walker (Joyce), Willie Walker (Sabrina), and Joseph Walker (Leanna); eighteen grandchildren; special friend, Rochelle Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A funeral will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at 3:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
