Charles Andrew Whitaker

Charles Andrew Whitaker, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. He was retired from Inland Motors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Virginia Whitaker; son, Charles Robert Whitaker; one brother; three sisters; and stepdaughter, Charlene Moore.

Survivors include his loving wife, Polly C. Whitaker; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Chip Basil, and Brenda and Tim Webb; stepson and his wife, Jimmy and Tracy Scott; grandchildren, Geoffrey Basil; Trevor Basil; Zachary Horton; Austin Horton and Maddie Semones; J.D. Scott and Laura Conway; Kelli Britt and Dustin Britt; Vincent Scott and Angela Capps; great grandchildren; Owen Basil; Avery Scott; Mariah Britt; Makenzie Britt; Dyson Jackson; Kaleb Scott; Kyleigh Scott and Kayson Scott; sister, Anna Lee Kirk; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brent Strauf and Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
