Nancy Young Sink

Nancy Young Sink of Rocky Mount, VA passed away December 6,2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was a loving, devoted and caring Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a member of Bible Holiness Church in Christiansburg, VA. She was also a homemaker, loved to sew, embroider, read but most of all, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis D Sink and his daughter Martha Custer; Daughter Susan Curran; grandsons Matthew Martin, DJ Young, and Kris Stevens; brother Richard Young. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Gertrude Young
She is survived by children Jeanie Martin (Danny Pendleton) Eugene Martin (Janice), Alice Stevens (Terry), Stephen Martin (Esther), Sharon Martin (Concha), Hoyt Martin (Deana), and Daniel Martin 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Helen Collins (Melvin), Janice Nichols (late Garland), Peggy Aldridge (late Charles) Lois Young and brother Glenn Young, many nieces and nephews
Also surviving are her late husband Dennis Sink family siblings, many nieces and nephews along with daughters Janet Prillaman (David) and Janice Prillaman (Ralph) and son-in-law Jimmy Custer; very special friend, Linda Furrow.
Due to COVID-19 and the mandates placed by our Governor, Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel.
The family respectfully asks that flowers and food be omitted.
