Richard Lee Tolley, Sr.

Richard Lee Tolley, Sr., 68 of Bedford passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was a son of the late Carl Thomas Tolley and Virginia Viola Clements Tolley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Bridgeman Tolley; brothers and sister, Carl Edward Tolley, Larry Wayne Tolley and Wanda Gail Bell; great-grandson, Justin Allen Smith.

Surviving him are one son, Richard “Rich” Lee Tolley, Jr.; daughter, Juanita Faye Smith; sisters and brother, Shirley Garrett (John), Barbara Lynch (James) and Michael Tolley (Ginger); grandsons, Charles Allen Smith, Jr. (Kelsey), Blake Aaron Smith and Dylan Austin Smith; 1 granddaughter; great-grandchildren, Justin Smith, Aidan Smith, Maddy Smith, Mason Smith and Kyra Smith; 5 great-grandchildren; fiancé, Rosalie Terry; numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. A graveside service will be held 11 am, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Roger Graves officiating.

All social distancing and face covering mandates will be observed
