Michael Leonard Stockton

Michael Leonard Stockton, 58, of Martinsville, VA departed this life on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Sovah Health - Martinsville. He was born September 27, 1962 a son of Carolyn Hairston Stockton and the late Leonard Stockton, Jr. In addition to his father his son, Michael Grant transitioned on December 9, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn Scales Stockton of Martinsville, VA; his mother, Carolyn H. Stockton, of Martinsville, VA; one daughter, Termeka Scales, of Martinsville, VA; one step daughter, Jasmine Grant, of Atlanta, GA; one stepson, Terrance Scales, of Martinsville, VA; one grandson, Terrance Scales Jr., of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, Alvin Stockton and Flonard Stockton, both of Martinsville, VA.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Carver Memorial Gardens with Rev. F. Dion Noel. officiating. A floating visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel. Facial covering are required and social distancing will be observed.
