Gene Eddie Brads, 80 of Bedford passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born on Saturday, June 15, 1940 in Bedford, a son of the late Russell Brads and Stella Brads Grimm. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy B. Eastridge, Edith B. Overstreet and Mary B. Minnick.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Louise Minter Brads; sisters, Maggie McFaddin & husband, Kenneth and Phyllis B. Zeigler; a brother, Vincent Brads & wife, Jean.
The family would like to thank Springtree Health and Rehab Center and Bedford County Nursing Home for their care and devotion. There will be no services.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Bedford.
