Beverly Jean Murch

October 4, 1957 - December 19, 2020

Beverly Jean Murch was born October 11, 1957 in Canandaigua, New York. She died December 19, 2020 in Lynchburg, Virginia, in the arms of her husband, surrounded by her children and many of her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of Bruce Evan Murch; Mother of Aaron, Benjamin, Lauren (Tyler), Samuel, Jesse, Hannah, Evan, Elijah and Josiah Murch; Grandmother to Katie, Benjamin Jr., Joshua, Josephine, Calvin and Riley Jean Murch; Moses, Jeremiah, Bithiah, Mercy, Abel, Andrew, Peter and Sarah Beverly Tyler; Samuel Jr., Loring, Crewe and Thea Murch; Grace, James and Elyse Murch; Shadrach Murch and a sibling yet to be born; Godfrey Murch and a sibling (Martel) yet to be born; Jaxson Murch and a sibling (Elizabeth) yet to be born. She is also survived by her twin sister, Barbara Lewis Dolack, sister Jan Lewis, and brother Greg Lewis.

Beverly and Bruce met at Elim Bible Institute in Lima, New York in 1979, and were married April 11, 1981. They were approaching their 40th wedding anniversary when she passed from cancer. Beverly was a full-time homemaker, who home-schooled all nine of her children. She was known to all as kind, hospitable, an example to young mothers, and a staunch defender of her family. She was a stalwart warrior in the fight to save preborn children from death, and for many years traveled the country with her husband and children in the furtherance of that end. Her legacy will live on for generations, through her children and her grandchildren.

A memorial service for Beverly will be held at Reformed Bible Church in Appomattox, Virginia, 222 Harrell Street, at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 26, 2020 with a reception to follow.
