Michael Ross Heflin, Sr.

Michael Ross Heflin, Sr., 71 of Lynch Station, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, June 29, 1949 in Campbell County, a son of the late William C. Heflin Sr. and Sarah Alpha Winebarger Heflin Witt. He was also preceded in death by and infant daughterm, Pamela Ann Heflin.

He was retired from Westminster Canterbury having worked in maintenance.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Annie Evans Heflin; his sons, Michael Heflin, Jr. (Cynthia) of Huddleston, Jeremy Heflin of Bedford; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; his brothers, Bill Heflin (Debbie) of Lynch Station, Bobby Heflin (Sharon) of Lillington, NC, Fred Heflin (Audra) of Evington; his sisters, Sue Childers of Lynch Station, Sarah Spruce of Lynchburg, Donna Woodruff (Chris) of Bedford.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Independence Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. There is no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
