Irma Ocampo-Juarez

Irma Ocampo-Juarez, 59, of Ridgeway, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born October 22, 1961 in Mexico, to the late Catalino Ocampo Alvarez and Lucia Juarez-Palacios.

She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed feeding the birds, cooking, was a very caring person, hard worker, responsible, happy person and always helped other people.

Irma is survived by her husband, Teodoro Sanchez Nigorreta; daughter, Jenny Sanchez (Vega); sons, Santiago Sanchez-Ocampo (Marcela P. Sanchez), and Oswaldo Sanchez-Ocampo; sisters, Barbara, Hernestina, Coty, Carmela, and Magaly Ocampo; brothers, Daniel and Alberto Ocampo; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.
