Floyd Venton Harris

Floyd Venton Harris, 69, of Martinsville, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was born June 21, 1951 in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Willie E. and Martha R. Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lorene Stockton and brother, Frank Harris

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching the NFL Panthers, cleaning, detailing, and racing his cars.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Loretta Harris; a daughter, Ashlei Copening; four sisters, Katie M. Cooke, Elizabeth V. Hairston, Naomi Aytch, and Martha Jane Harris; four grandchildren, Tre’Vontay Watkins, Heaven Bennett, Xavier Harris, and Calaysia Copening; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

All services will be private due to Mr. Harris’s wishes.
