Wendy Stephens Gallant

Wendy Stephens Gallant, 61 of Evington passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1959 in Annapolis, MD, a daughter of James Mitchell Stephens of Huddleston and the late Shirley Knight Stephens. She was a retired employee of the US Postal Service.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Gary Francis Gallant of Evington; sons, Jeromy David Gallant & significant other, Danielle, Matthew Jacob Gallant & wife, McKenzie, a daughter, Ashley Renae Gallant & significant other, Russ; sisters, Vickie Burr & husband, Jack, Donna Crary & husband, Art, Jackie Tucker & husband, Gary and Lu Ann Stephens; a brother, Mike Stephens & wife, Jo Anne; three grandchildren, Sophia Grace Gallant, Faith Eloise Gallant and Raelynn Joy Gallant.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston at 11:00 am with Pastor Troy Warner, officiating. Interment will follow at Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Updike Funeral Home, Huddleston. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
