David W. "Elvis" Turner

David William “Elvis” Turner, 73, of Fieldale passed away on January 7, 2021 at his home.  He was born on August 14, 1947 to the late Robert Lee Turner and the late Clara Elizabeth Lawson Turner.  In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean McKinney Turner, sister; Mary Alice Thomasson, brothers; James Edward Turner, Elwood Turner, Johnny Turner, Bobby Turner and Billy Turner.
David was of the Baptist faith and worked at Winn Dixie in Bassett for 33 years and 21 years at Bassett Furniture and loved Elvis music. David is survived by his daughter Cynthia Kay Turner, son; William Dwayne Turner and one grandchild and many nieces and nephews
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor Sammy Caldwell.
