Billy Joe Massey

Billy Joe Massey, 51, of Providence, North Carolina passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021, at UNC Chapel Hill. He was born June 2, 1969 in Danville, Virginia to the late William and Rachel Owens Massey. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, construction, cooking, fishing, and working on vehicles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Tate Massey and brothers, Ronnie Massey and Westley Massey, Sr..

Mr. Massey is survived by his wife, Connie Collins Massey; daughters, Aimee Massey (Sam Tinnell), Emily Massey, and Mandy Keith; son, Timothy Collins; grandchildren, Henasey Hall, Jayce Mitchell, Mariya Baker, La’miya Baker, Blake Collins, Makayla Collins, Rayne Collins, Bayleigh Collins, Ja’lviya Powell, and Baby Baker; niece Charlene Cope (Zachary); and great-nephew John Cope.
