"Ruth" Jenettie Ruth Lovell Bayse Michael

“Ruth” Jenettie Ruth Lovell Bayse Michael, 90, of Salem, passed away, Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Michael; parents, James M & Delia Lovell; aunt and uncle Ruby & Taft Coggins; brothers, Don and James Lovell, Jr.

Ruth is survived by her children Alan Bayse and wife Amy, Yvonne Reynolds and husband Ron, and Alicia Rollins and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Stacy Harris, Deidre DeHoust, Brad Reynolds, Wes Reynolds, Sarah Wimmer, Allyson Schwab, Chandler Henderson, and Bryson Henderson; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Bill Coggins Robert Coggins and wife Jan; numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family and coworkers at GE, ITT, Bayse & Co and Central Church of the Brethren.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Central Church of the Brethren in Ruth’s name.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Salem Terrace for the care they gave to Ruth.

Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Kinsey and Pastor Greg Irby officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home (540)366-0707.
