Phyllis Divers Whitley

Phyllis Divers Whitley, 77, of Roanoke, VA., passed away Friday, January 15, 2021.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Whitley; parents, Elmer and Ann Divers; daughter, Rebecca Whitley; brother-in-law, Bill McKeever.
Phyllis dedicated 40 years to the care of Becky and was active 30 years with The March of Dimes.
Phyllis is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony (Tony)  and Angela Whitley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elwood Divers and Sally Smiley, Wayne and Jill Divers; sister and brother-in-law, June and Richard Jewel; sister-in-law, Sandy McKeever; three nephews; two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to The March of Dimes.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.  Funeral service on Monday, January 18, 2021, 10 a.m. at Lotz Salem Chapel.  Interment following in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
