David Wayne Haynes

David Wayne Haynes, 60, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, January 17,2021 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, John Haynes and sister, Nancy Kuebler. He was born on April 20, 1960 to John and Ramona Haynes in Winchester, Va. While his father was stationed there serving in the Navy. He grew up with his family and resided in Roanoke most of his life.
David enjoyed joking around, intelligent conversation and playing his guitar. He never had children but had one child that he treasured in his heart, a beautiful little girl named “Catalina “for whom he helped find a stable home and get out of a crisis situation.
He is survived by his mother, Ramona Haynes; brother, Calvin Haynes; sister, Sarah Lochner; three nephews and two nieces. He was very fond of his Aunt Nancy Sturgill and the Jones family in Radford, Va. played an important part of his life and were dear to him.
