Donald Howard Phillips

Donald Howard Phillips, 84 of Thaxton, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on Saturday, April 18, 1936 in Bedford County, a son of the late Henry Phillips and Nannie Sarver Phillips. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Rose Phillips and his son, Michael Phillips.

He was retired from the Rubatex Corp after 41 years of service.

Surviving is a daughter, Audrey Frigiano & husband, Ralph of Spring Hill, FL; a sister, Evelyn Overstreet; niece, Bonnie Dellinger & husband Carl; nephew, Dale Overstreet & wife Joyce; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank caregiver and friend, Bonnie Frances who provided excellent care and love for many years.

A graveside service will be held at Peaks Presbyterian Church & Community Cemetery at a later date with Rev Bob Sowder officiating.
