Derek Burke, 38, of Roanoke passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was a 2000 graduate of Powell Valley High School and a 2005 graduate of Radford University.
Surviving are his wife, Emilee Sowers Burke; daughter, Natalie Layne Burke; father and mother, Jim and Deborah Burke; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Susie Sowers; and sister-in-law, Suzane (Trey) DeBerry.
A celebration of Derek's life will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 25. 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
