William Ralph Warner
William Ralph Warner, 87, of Sunnydale Avenue, passed away Friday January 22, 2021. He was the husband of the late Helen Holcomb Warner for 62 years.
Born in Waterbury, CT, June 18, 1933, he was a son of the late Dorothy Salmon and Eugene Ralph Warner. William and Helen operated a family dairy farm, Farm of Grace for 30 years in Watertown, CT. He also worked for his brother’s construction company Black and Warner Construction. William served his country in the United States Army in the Second Armor Division during the Korean War.
William is survived by five children, Susan Cote of Watertown, CT, Debbie Warner of Cocoa Beach, FL, Tim Warner and wife, Martha of Appomattox, Ted Warner and wife, Lisa of Northfield, CT, and Pete Warner and wife, Sue of Appomattox; three brothers, John Warner and wife, Linda of Tucson, AZ, Chuck Warner of Appomattox and Gary Warner and wife, Susan of Lynchburg; one sister, JoAnn Warner Harris and husband, Tommy of Appomattox; 13 grandchildren, Matt, Billy, Katy, Nadean, Krissy, Travis, Kenny, Amber, Colleen, Eric, Brady, Zachary and Nick; seven great-grandchildren, Evan, Mason, Kinsley, Derek, Emerson, Hudson and Khloe.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Warner and Eugene Warner and a son-in-law, Mark Cote.
A private family service will be held.
