Rozelle Cox Bowyer

Rozelle Cox Bowyer, 96 of Bedford passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at English Meadows Senior Living Community in Bedford. She was born on February 16, 1924 in Stone Mountain, VA, a daughter of the late Doc Jackson Cox and Dallie Lee Aliff Cox. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Leonard Bowyer and four sisters and four brothers.

Rozelle retired from Bedford Weaving Company after more than twenty-five years service. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Olivet Southern Baptist Church in Bedford.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of English Meadows for their help and care given to Rozelle the past six years as well as Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their recent help and care.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Southern Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. J. R. Graybill officiating.
