Jeremiah Jerron Turner

Jeremiah Jerron Turner, 20, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at his home. He was born March 13, 2000 in Martinsville, to Lamar P. Carter and Sharika Turner Crawford. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jesse Turner, Jimmy Carter, and Orene Carter.

He attended Henry County Public Schools, attended Mercy Crossing Church, and was employed by Ply Gems. He enjoyed rapping, basketball, looking out for his nephews and cousins, and loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jeremiah is survived by his step-father, Geri Crawford; sisters, Yakira Turner, NiJa Turner, and NaKyia Turner; grandmothers, Belinda Turner and Beulah Carter; great-grandmother, Cassie Carter; aunt, Victoria Carter; and a host of other cousins, family and friends.

The funeral will be Monday, February 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Danville Memorial Gardens. A Floating Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service.
