Dorothy "Dot" Joyce Koger

Dorothy “Dot” Joyce Koger, 88, of Bassett, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Sovah Health – Martinsville.  She was born on May 31, 1932 in Stoneville, NC to the late Fletcher Lee Joyce and the late Henrietta Smith Joyce.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Daniel “H.D.” Koger and a step-grandson, David Coleman, Jr.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Lee Koger and wife Becky and Dan Akers Koger and wife Susan; grandson, Charlie Koger; several cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville with Dr. Joey McNeill officiating.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
