Catherine Alice Barker

Catherine Alice Barker, 74, of Inman, SC (formerly of Ridgeway), died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare.  She was born in Virginia on September 1, 1946 to the late Joseph English and the late Pearly Scott English.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Barker, Jr.; brother, Robert Lee English; three sisters, Julie Arthur, Lucille Culpepper two grandsons, Bryon Bray and Jonathan Gallimore.
 
She is survived by two sons, James Thomas Barker, III, Anthony Wayne Barker; three daughters, Pearlie Lucille Horton, Mary Jane Gallimore and Rebecca Ann Bray; 22 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Sigmon.
 
Friends may stop by the funeral home to view and sign the register, Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Elwood Gallimore officiating.  Burial will follow Mountain View Cemetery.
