Mary Marie Saunders

Mary Marie Saunders 81, of Pearisburg Va, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by the ones she loved. She was born in Giles County on June 23, 1939. Marie was the daughter of the Late Herbert Monroe Saunders and the Late Mary Cathrine Saunders. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two sons David Saunders and Danny Davis. Her sister Lucille Dalton and Jean Penny. Brothers Oscar Saunders and Kenneth Saunders. A grandson Chris Davis and a Great Grandson Nichols Saunders. Nephew George Kirk and James Dalton. Also great Nephew Jason Thorne.

Marie is survived by brother George Saunders (John), Violet Russell. Her beloved children Drema Saunders, Beatrice Davis and Walter Peanut Davis. Grand Children Katrina (Walter), Chad, Sondra (Jason), Autumn, Alanna, Deloris, Kenneth (Chrissy), Alicia, Natasha, Megan (Mike) and Brandon (Christy). Marie also had many many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. She also had a very sweet and special great great granddaughter Ryleigh she called her Sweet Pea. And a very special great great grandson Nicholas she called him her Little Pumpkin. The family would also like to thank Ashley Armstrong for all the help in her last month's here on earth.

Marie loved the outdoors. She could sit outside for hours just to soak in the sunshine. She loved to watch game shows and her court tv. And more than anything she loved being around her family. They meant the most to her. If you knew her, then you loved her. She had her own little sass about herself. But she was always willing to help anyone that needed it. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday January 31, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 pm till the time of the Service.
