Ronald Edward Morris

RONALD EDWARD MORRIS, 76, of Pearisburg, VA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, January 29, 2021. He was born March 4, 1944 and was the son of Ed & Marie Morris of Ingram Village. Ronnie had retired from Federal Mogul. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an active member of Ingram Village United Methodist Church for 62 years.
He is survived his wife, Judy Galliher Morris; his son & daughter-in-law, Stephen & Tammi Morris; his daughter & son-in-law, Sarah & Chris Midkiff, all of Pearisburg; his grandchildren, Lucas Morris, Galax, VA, Dylan Morris, Skyler Morris and Emma Morris, all of Pearisburg, VA; several cousins and many friends. He especially loved his church family and he never met a stranger.
Strictly following the current Covid-19 restrictions and mandates, masks are required throughout the services and social distancing should be followed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Due to occupancy restrictions, the funeral service will be private and Rev. Pam Sutherland and Charles Henderson will officiate. A public graveside committal will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Narrows, at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Ronnie’s honor to Ingram Village United Methodist Church, Building Fund, c/o Bonnie Martin, 451 Cross Ave., Pearisburg, VA 24134.
