Yueh "Aki" Chiao Roberts

Yueh Chiao Roberts “Aki” of Bassett, Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021. Yueh -Chiao Roberts formerly from Taipei, Taiwan moved to the United States in 1967 with her husband Gerald Roberts. She became a United States Citizen in 1977.

Yueh Chiao (Aki) worked at Bassett Furniture Factories for 40 years. She loved to walk with her husband and often was seen miles away from her house walking all over Bassett. Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 54 years Gerald Roberts of Bassett and Kenny and Lisa Stone of Ridgeway. Sister – in - law and brother – in - law and nieces. Aki had 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews in Taiwan. 18 flowers will be sent in Remembrance from her family in Taiwan. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday February 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Henry Memorial Park with Rev. Ira Waller, Jr. officiating.
