Nicky Barbour

Nicky Barbour, 72, of Bassett, died Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the Cone Green Valley Hospital. He was born in Henry County on October 31, 1948 to the late Ollie Cecil Barbour and the late Blanche Barbour. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cline Barbour.

He had worked many years at Stanley Furniture as a saw operator and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Parker (Mark) and Ginger Morris; grandchildren, Amber Blackard (James), Amy Haddock, Morgan Thomas (Jared), Ian Harbour and Sean Harbour; great grandchildren, Addyson Haddock, Colton Blackard, Blakely Blackard and Noah Thomas; brothers, Cecil Barbour and Mack Barbour; sister, Robin Towler and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may stop by the funeral home Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM to view and sign the register book without the family present. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor Jonathan Haskew.

The children appreciate your thoughts but kindly ask that food be omitted.
