Norma Booth

Norma Jean Fitch Booth, 87, formerly of Concord, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was the wife of the late George Marvin Booth, Jr.

Born in Campbell County, on May 20, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Nellie Hale Fitch and Fred G. Fitch, Sr. She was a member of Thomas Terrace Baptist Church and the Concord Happy Hearts Club. Norma was a 1951 graduate of Concord High School and retired from Central Virginia Training Center.

Norma is survived by her two sons, G. Marvin Booth, III of Forest and Jerry Booth and fiancée, Cassindy “Cindy” Garrett of Appomattox; a sister, Ann F. Carwile (James) of Concord; brothers, Harold Fitch (Margaret) of Lynchburg and Douglas Fitch (Virginia) of Concord; two sisters-in-law, Easter Fitch of Powhatan and Agnes Fitch of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Cindy Tanner Booth and four brothers, Fred Fitch, Jr., William Fitch, Donald Fitch, and Buddy Fitch.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
