Fannie Davis Gardner

Fannie Davis Gardner, 96 of Bedford, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at Cardinal Senior Living. She was born on Thursday, January 1, 1925 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late William John Davis and Dolly Ann Hensley Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Samuel Gardner.

She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, William Gardner & wife, Jeanette, Harford Gardner & wife, Linda, Steve Gardner & wife, Betty; her brothers, Andrew Davis, Robert Davis, Sherman Davis as well as seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Claire Miller officiating. There is no visitation. The Gardner family and Updike Funeral Home requests that everyone follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask to the service. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
