Ida Mae Ruff

Ida Mae Ruff Ruff, 78 of Bedford, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Saturday, August 29, 1942 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Wallace Munford Ruff and Ruby Overstreet Ruff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grover Burks Ruff.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Ruff Dooley; her brothers, Willie Ruff, Amos Burks Ruff; her sisters, Deborah Ruff Thompson, Linda Ruff Easter; her grandchildren, Jeannie Dooley Crawn, Ashley Pickeral, Cody Ruff and her great grandchildren, Gracie Clemons, Sarah Pickeral, Walker Pickeral.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. Interment will follow in Parker Family Cemetery.
