Jordan Keith Childress

Jordan Keith Childress, 27, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, February 23, 2021. Jordan was preceded in death by his Uncle Clifton Collins, Jr.

Jordan is survived by his mother and father figure, Gene and Susan Watkins; son, Varen Courtney (Aimee); sister, Victoria DeWeese; grandparents, Clifton Collins Sr. and Rachal Mick as well as his loving dogs, Lucille and Hank.

Jordan loved life and baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Hurricanes. He loved skateboarding and his Vans shoes. Jordan had a million-dollar smile, a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He always went out of his way to thank a veteran. Heaven truly gained another angel with Jordan. This world is going to be a lonely place without you in it.

Rest easy son; I love you daddy and I miss you; rest easy big brother.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with Melvin Whitaker officiating. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
