Maletta Mae Sifford Perdue

Maletta May Sifford Perdue, 91 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life February 22, 2021 in the loving care of her loving family and Good Samaritan Hospice. Born August 2, 1929, in Parrot, VA she was a daughter of the late Virginia and Floyd Sifford.

Maletta was proud of her faith and a member of the Pearisburg Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Morris and Danny Perdue; children, Roger Morris, Jerry Morris, Eugene Morris, Donald Morris, James Morris, and Freda Morris; and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her daughters, Cynthia DeLoach (Charles) of Pearisburg, and Mary Jane Quesenberry (Tom) of Pembroke; a son, James Morris of Rich Creek; daughter in law, Carol Morris of West Virginia; a brother, Clifford Sifford (Alice) of Radford, VA; grandchildren, Donnie Morris Jr, Aaron Jones, Jelissa Jones, Zachary Morris, Cassandra Quesenberry, Todd Morris, and Megan Morris; and several great-grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life for Maletta held at the Pearisburg Church of God, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Doug Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends at the Pearisburg Church of God from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Fairview Cemetery, Narrows, VA. In accordance to the Commonwealth of Virginia and CDC guideline we ask that all in attendance will wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
