Donald Macon "Rollin" Bennett

Donald Macon “Rollin” Bennett, 71, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Tuesday,
February 23, 2021 at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born December 30, 1949 in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Mack and Goldie Preston Bennett. He worked for Norfolk and Southern Railroad. He attended Delaware State University where he was a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. He enjoyed football, was an avid baseball player but most importantly loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a foster brother, Charles Preston.

He is survived by sisters Carolyn Whiting, and Jessie A. Eggleston; niece, Roslyn Bennett; and nephews, Chad Bennett, Kermit Eggleston, and Jerel Whiting.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00 A. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
