James Daniel "JD" Fletcher, Jr.

James Daniel Fletcher, Jr., 77, husband of Juanita Sue Fletcher, died on Monday, March 29, 2021. He was born in Pearisburg, VA and was the son of the late James D. Fletcher, Sr. and the late Louise Moseley Fletcher. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Kyle Eubank.

JD was a retired grounds supervisor for Ashley Plantation and was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Franklin County.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he will be missed and remembered by a daughter, Melissa Sue Eubank (Donald); grandson, Cody Eubank; brothers, Charles W. Fletcher and Jackie Lee Fletcher; sisters-in-law, Mildred Popp (Steve) and Kathy Chambers.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Faith Fellowship Church with Rev. Gary Hoffman officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at Crystal Springs Dialysis Center, as well as Dr. Constance and Dr. Gary Ohagan for the wonderful care showed to JD during his illness.
