John Joseph Jones, 67, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was a general contractor in the construction industry for over 45 years. He loved his grandchildren and if he knew you and loved you he would take care of and protect you at all costs.
Surviving family includes his wife of 47 years, Rita Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jimmy Glover, and grandsons, Blake and Will Glover.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Chaplain Seth McCormack officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM prior to the service.
