Darrell Sylvester Shelton, 71, of Roanoke, Va. transitioned on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at UNC Hospice in Pittsboro, N.C.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Wade Family Cemetery in Bassett. The Rev. Terry Hairston will officiate. A floating visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 3 until 5 p.m. with the family being present from 4 until 5 p.m.

All services will be held in accordance with CDC guidelines which includes facial coverings and social distancing.
