Cyndi Blake Quinn

Cyndi Blake Quinn, 58, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 5, 2021. She was preceded by her parents, Billy and Ellen Blake.

Cyndi was a 1980 graduate of Northside High School and worked for more than 28 years as a Dental Hygienist. She had a special love for the outdoors. She was a gifted gardener, loved plants of all kinds, and in her youth she was devoted to her horses.

Surviving are her sisters, Billie Blake (Billy) Hurd, Bonnie Blake (Donnie) Metcalf; brother, Brian (Donna) Blake; nephews, Cameron (Harley) Hurd, Dustin (Makela) Hurd and their daughter, Magnolia, Corey Blake Woodring, Bryce and Seth Blake; aunt, Becky (Al) Hupp.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Friday until service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
